Missing: Team Deathmatch
Last seen: After its weekly stint ended on or around July 14.
Distinguishing Characteristics: 2 teams of 4 players go at it for fame and glory.
If found: Please return to the Arcade slots promptly.
Reward: Fame, glory, fun.
Seriously, when every single other FFA mode has been up repeatedly, and when we now have TWO rotating daily slots, there’s no reason for Team Deathmatch to be gone this long.
I seriously think the game algorithms detect when I have fun, and promptly make that mode cycle less often than the rest. See also: Total Mayhem, which hasn’t been up since July 27th.
Seriously, I just want one or more of the Arcade modes -I- enjoy to be up more often than every few weeks.

I keep saying the arcade could use a overhaul and that having peoples favourite modes available whenever might actually keep players more engaged, offsetting the need for more players to support more game modes at a time.
They could easily just group gamemodes that are related with a dropdown menu or such.
E.g.:
8 player ffa:
-Chateau guillard only
-petra only
-All maps
-Mystery heroes
and I guess the brawl counts too.
Even if they clung to the current layout, why must there be a cube that takes up 4 spots, and then 4 small cubes?
We get it, its weekly, We’d understand if it was a small cube as well.
3 more rotations right there.
Or add any arbitrary amount of rows/colums.
I dont care about the implemenation, I just want Chateau Guillard.
As you want your modes of choice

Yeah, I can’t find the post now, but I’ve proposed an Arcade revamp which would basically dedicate various slots to different modes, so there was always a FFA rotating on a daily basis, an elimination rotating on a daily basis, and so forth, so that no mode would be gone for more than a week or so, maximum, and you could predict when each one would show up again.
I feel like the playerbase would be happier if it wasn’t feast or famine with some modes, and utterly random when (or if) they showed up in the first place.

They should just have all modes available. Taking them away doesn’t make people play the other modes in most cases. It makes them not play until their mode returns.

Yup. If tdm or ffa guillard/ffa all maps isn’t there I’m only playing comp that week- mirror ffa is pretty good but it’s not the same.
