I don’t have any cosmetics from overwatch 1 on overwatch 2, my heroes are all locked and kiriko is locked too. The merging does not work either. I’d like to somehow get my items back because it took years to build them up.

Read the forum, lot of posts about this. You need to do some steps then merge will appear in the main menu and you can get your merge started.
Training
5-10 matches (so all game modes are unlocked, exceot for ranked)
Merge appears
Hope you get a popup at the time of login
Agree to the popup to start merge

Does this actually work? I’m gonna try for that because I’ve been trying like crazy to make the merge button work
You need to do thw traing and set matches to enable to see the button in the main menu. Once its there is waiting on the pop-up when you login, with the long queue thats going on now itll need a spot to put you so i cant say how fast it wil go. Took me around 26hours to get the pop-up and now in a lonnggggg queue.

I had the same scare, cuz if all is gone im not gonna play. Now im in queue and hope all is fixxed soon. The training and matches just enable the menu option, doesnt mean itll work right then and there but u need it to be in your main menu otherwise you are not able to get the pop-up.
