Before the announcement that it will be an existing theme I was actually thinking about it too, thought of designing a few skins for my art portfolio. But since its now official, I guess I just ask what you all think what will happen?
I see 2 major variants that could occur:
-Overwatch itself becomes an evil organization like an evil Justic League with Talon being freedom fighters against them
or
-Members between Overwatch and Talon switching places
I personally like the latter more and here are a few of my ideas how it could go:

Gabriel and Morrison: Following the omnic crisis and the promotion of Soldier 24 to commander of Overwatch, the organization prioritized to restore good relationship with Omnics, even offering them positions within Overwatch’s ranks. Fearing that Overwatch’s sense of justice became warped and threatens the safety of everyone in the world Soldier 76 and several members attempted a coup against Commander Gabriel, but failed. Dr. Ziegler fled with the injured Morrison, healing him with cybernetics. They became world-wide known criminals as Grimm and Zieger and members of Talon. To battle the claims that Overwatch plans to use omnics to take over the world, Gabriel retires, thus ensuring the survival of the Overwatch. In secret he became a vigilante known as Archangel and tries to find his former friend.

Hanzo, Genji and Mercy: Genji not interested in the activities of the Shimada clan got into conflict with his brother. In this universe Hanzo lost the fight and was gravely injured. The Dr. Ziegler of this universe however due to her successes in the medical field has grown extremely proud and zealous, thinks that she can do no wrong. Believing that the criminal needs restraints, she installs mental-barriers to ensure the obedience of the new cyborg. Thought this Hanzo becomes a silent, complacent member of Blackwatch, following Dr.Ziegler’s every order. After the coup attempt against Soldier 24, he also escaped with Dr.Ziegler and Morrison. Genji learning of his brothers fate, joined Archangel’s vigilante ring to find and rescue his brother from Zieger’s brainwashing.

Rammatra and Zenyatta: Following the omnic crisis and their “awakening”, Rammatra and Zenyatta were eager to bring security and safety to their people that suffered from discrimination all around the world. In a weird turn, Overwatch’s leader proposed something that came unexpected. Gabriel offered Omnics to serve as members as Overwatch as a new peacekeeping force, showing that they have changed their ways. Rammatra thinking that becoming the official police force of the world is good way to become respected in the eyes of humans accepted the proposal and persuaded many of his brothers to join Overwatch. Zenyatta however saw this as omnics being used as tools of violance again refused. However he did not stand in the way of his brothers, instead remained in the Shambali monastery alone.

Talon and Null-Sector: In this universe Null-Sector doesn’t exist as Overwatch gave Omnics security and work as their agents. However that empowered Talon that instead of being a simple terrorist organization has leaned into omnic-phobia of the world to gather support. They mascaraed as an anti-omnic/anti-overwatch resistence to hide their true ulterior motives. Sadly many people fell for their deception and joined their ranks in hopes to rid the world of Omnics once and for all.

Hammond and Winston: Through the events of the Lunar Uprising, many of the gorillas lost their lives to the Omnic security members Overwatch had provided to defend the scientists. Witnessing the slaughter of his brethren that resulted in his capture too, Winston was left with a huge, unrelenting rage. He later escaped his confinement but this time the security of the lunar base was not enough to stop his improvised weaponry. Landing on earth, he found Talon’s anti-omnic messaging sympathetic, and decided to join their ranks. Later he took over the organization by killing the previous leaders. Hammond on the other hand after his escape landed at Overwatch’s Gibraltar base where he was accepted and became one of the lead scientists. He formed a close friendship with Moira who sees the little hamster as someone equal to her in intellect and determination. After Soldier-24’s retirement, Hammond became the new commander of Overwatch.

Bastion and Torbjörn: While working for Overwatch as chief engineer, Lindholm recovered a seemingly “awakened” bastion unit. Bastion showed great improvements and its friendly behaviour has helped a lot of people overcome their trauma that the similar units has caused during the war. Unfortunetly during a mission, Talon managed to kidnap the unit and somehow reprogram-it, then it let the unit loose on innocent people. Having an exemplary reformed omnic turn evil once again, aided Talon’s anti-omnic message. They periodically let him loose on different parts of the world. Torbjörn and his daughter Brigitte joined forces with Archangel’s vigilante group to find and save Bastion from Talon and restore his free-will.

Sigma, Sombra and Tracer: Though originally she only joined Talon for the money without any interest to right or wrong, Sombra couldn’t ignore the evil and manipulation and lies any longer. Seeing how Zieger (Mercy) took advantage of Dr. Kuiper’s warped mental state and unconditional trust in her, she decided she had to save him. Together they escaped Talon and joined Overwatch for protection. Hammond recognized that Dr. Kuiper’s state was similar to another patent’s, Tracer’s, as both of them experienced disruption in their own memories and experiences that could only be described as being dislocated from their original space-time and an inability to re-align. Studying both of their cases, Hammond managed to create devices that managed to help their conditions significantly. Dr.Kuiper regained most his cognitive function, though sometimes he could still experience thoughts of alternative version of himself, he decided to become an Overwatch operative alongside Sombra. Tracer however suffered. Fixing her time caused her to experienced her entire life, past, present and future all at once as a side-effect. She was hunted by visions of the end of the world which, a war hundred times larger than the omnic crisis, leading to the extinction of humanity. She ran away in order to find a way to prevent that future from becoming a reality.
