This game is an unplayable mess in this format. I’ve given it chance after chance and it is even worse than 5v5, which is at least functional even if it isn’t fun.
Installed for 6v6 Classic, but seeing as this isn’t really Classic, and there is no role queue, this was a waste of time. Just another miss on top of what has been three years of nothing but misses.
Team 4, just give up. Your heart isn’t in it and you have floundered with the gameplay too many times for veteran players to want to keep logging in. I don’t have any interest in Rivals, but I find it hilarious that NetEase of all entities effectively stole your thunder.
6v6 role queue back in December was a lot of fun, but Blizzard is going to continue sacrificing the gameplay and player experience. Dead game, dead developers.
What’s not classic about it?
I’ll tell you, the fact there’s no role queue
Back then there was no role queue in the game at the time, why it is not there. Other then a few minor things this event was almost exactly how it was in 2017 during that patch, so what exactly is not classic about it?

Are you really a veteran if you only played at the end of OW1’s life when they added role queue?

Role queue was added almost exactly halfway through ow1. Given it took almost 2 years after the classic patch for it to be added.
OW was on its way out in 2019, role Q was added in the second half of 2019, and the game entered maintenance mode at the start of 2020.
Are you really a veteran if you played OW1 after it got its last patches and missed every meta that existed?
Even tho we only had 1 more hero added after role queue, and it was mainly on maintenance, we still has many balance patches and different metas. My only point was role queue came out halfway through ow1. Even if the later half was mainly just balance patches for new content, not heroes and maps.
But either way; there should not be role queue in the moth meta event.
