I am a console player. We had this problem for YEARS in Overwatch 1 that for some reason Arabic players got put on the EU Servers.
Like 1-2 years before the release of OW2 the middle east players got their own servers. But now it seems they are Back on EU servers. This is a HUGE problem again.
They are playing on 130+ Ping and there is a big language barrier since most of them cant speak english.
We as european players are annoyed once again. They communicate in Arabic all the time and there are even some regions in Saudi arabia where voice chat is blocked.
Since they are so super democratic countries (ironic off).
Put them on asia or give them their own servers again.

Just mute them and get on with your day.
It’s not like the EU server has ever had problems with language barriers before.
Just mute them in a competitive game?

Yes, instead of making the excuse of a language barrier when talking about EU servers, there is this thing called the ping system, use it.

Not my experience, 95% of the players in VC I come across just scream at you in french.
even if it’s not correct it’s still a european language

How is it not correct for people to speak in their native language?
As soon as I hear another language I just mute them I never have problems with toxicity after that, should their be a me server? Yes does the lack of one adversely effect my experience? Nope.
The POINT is: saudi arabia is on ASIA. NOT EUROPE. Why are they on EU servers???
It’s EU server, and we all agree to speak english to understand each other
And most french i’ve seen talked in english
BUT, the majority of arabs who shouldn’t be here, they talk arab, they “hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh” in the chat like they slam their head on keyboard, they scream they insult they throw etc

u dont even need comms in this game anymore…voice lines and pings you will do just fine, it aint hard.

Also how do you know these Arabs don’t live in Europe?
i do need them, in ranked, so i stick to quick play, in american server, to not have to play with them, 160ms to be able to read the chat and understand what people say, and with people behaving like adults most of the time, is worth it
Americans are far more toxic than anyone else imo.
Because they Only speak arabic??? They dont use any other language.
That doesn’t tell you anything about where they live.
Like I said originally mute and move on.

Nope, I’m British I don’t speak any other language, it doesn’t bother me when I hear other languages, if I hear any sort of toxicity I just mute them, it doesn’t take long.
to the next game where, again, it will only be arabic in chat and voice chat ?
Can’t you understand we would like to use the chat and the voice chat ? in english ? in EU server ?

I asked some of them „PING??“ and they responded 140. but if you talk to them in gamechat they dont understand english. And hell beware they hear any female voice in voice chat. They always are rude to female players.
