You’d want to work with your ISP since they are responsible for your routing.
I think it’s Blizzard responsibility to inform our ISPs in Saudi Arabia (STC, Mobily and Zain) about the new Servers and Routes not us! (if they care about thier players)
Blizzard please do something about it, the game experience is too bad after this change.

My wifi is good but my ping is 240

My ping used to be 50ms on Bahrain servers but now it’s 85ms. I can feel the small ping difference while playing. It’s uncomfortable…

its called cheating and scamming from your side i dont have to ask my isp to change route cuz you have changed your server location… blizzard have to call all our isp,s to change it … i will never play this game again

How do we work our ISP to route us to the GMEC servers? If I’m to reach out they’ll definitely need more information than this.

You will likely want to speak to a Level 2 or 3 tech support and tell them that your internet traffic is being routed into Europe instead of the closer server. They may need the IP of the EU server you’re landing on (you can get this from the netgraph in game) and they may need to reach out to Blizzard’s networking team for the direct IPs of the new server.
How do they reach out to the blizzard networking team and where do i get the netgraph?

You’ve caused this issue, you fix it simple as that. I’m not going to beg my ISP to route my connection or whatever you could have just implemented a server selector…

They will know how to do this, they just contact Customer Service and get their issue escalated. Blizz has a specific email for network stuff, but I don’t have it.
I don’t work at Blizz and I’m just trying to help you all get the routing fixed as fast as possible. If you choose to do nothing and wait, that’s your choice.
I’m having same issue, not connecting to Dubai server, please fix or give us a way to not connect to EU servers, or put server in Saudi Arabia !!

Day 5:
issue not fixed ( for Saudi Arabia players ) 
the game still routes us to EU servers, and if someone get lucky and get routed to the new GMEC1 server his ping will be between 80-140ms which is a big difference!! (used to be 20-25ms with Bahrain servers).
so we have 2 issues:
1- the game routes us to EU servers instead of new server GMEC (most of us).
2- if you routed to GMEC the ping will be (80-140ms)

You could also forward our requests to someone who can communicate with them. Make it possible for us to choose the server we wish to connect to. Games like Fortnite and Apex have that option and when one server has some latency issues, you could easily select the nearest one or the one that gives you better ping.
