This is now Microsoft’s largest acquisition by an order of magnitude.

I don’t expect much to change immediately, but 2024 is sure to be an interesting year.

And yet, ActiBlizz still somehow is managing to purge its player base with new ways to ban its users.

Micro$$oft definitely has their work cut out for them.

dear shills

nothing will change

You know what they say: “The worst is yet to come!” especially with their new overlords.

For OW i don’t see that much happening team-wise. Maybe we get a Microsoft crossover event one day and thats it.

Now i can hope for the delisted Transformers games to return.

Halo Infinite has gotten 48 maps in the last 6 months.

The game is basically fixed and just pending a big marketing push.

Honestly, Overwatch should do what Halo Infinite did.

  • Fix the game
  • Earn back the trust of the existing community
  • And only After that, go for the big marketing push

The Movies as well. Man they are so many game that are no longer available but then MS has so many games that aren’t available like Freelancer for ex.

I remember many game devs and entire studios coming out that they still have the source codes to delisted games and they are ready to return if the merge happens.

Imagine if we would get a “mass resurrection” of all the delisted games so to speak. A dream come true.

But can they? The last season was the biggest marketing push OW as a whole ever got. They are too close to make another one even if it would be a year from now.

Kotick is gone at the end of 2023.

Looks like Phil gave him his notice almost immediately.

This is the sort of change that people were hoping for.

When you say fixed… you mean the controller aimbots have been nerfed?

Hmm, nothing found from a quick Google. But CoD has that.

And Microsoft now owns CoD.

Finally! Now jeff kaplan will come back just like Chris Metzen WOW Director too!

Finally again! My dream is come true. Hopefully Jeff is going to be back soon!

The problem with Halo is that they had the aim assist cranked up way too high.

Expect the worst from here on out, they will never do anything with OW.
