Microsoft merger is great

I know it’s culturally inappropriate to write something positive here, but I want to say, I have a good feeling about this (which I shouldn’t, cuz it’s blizzard anyways).

So far, Microsoft failed very few of their main games, but they successfully sell the other games too and keep them on top of the world charts, like Forza, Minecraft, and if they make new Halo, I am sure it will be popular too.

So far they have been on the track of decreasing prices, making the best gaming subscription in the world, and expanding their franchises. Heck, microsoft game pass is purchasable in Chinese Xbox, you have to know how hard it is to achieve actually.

I have only positive feelings about Microsoft Gaming through all this time. They will not directly get involved in the game development, but I am sure they will demand better results and call out lazy approach, and make people responsible for failures.

And I don’t agree that everything will be the same and nothing will change. Cuz then why they would purchase it? Why would Spencer go on the stage and do such huge promises, if they have no plans for blizzard?

Feel free to convince me the opposite.

i prefer to side with optimism here because the alternative is to be a doomer and complain all the time.

the comp changes seem decent, the new heroes look cool and they even teased a change to the mythics in the battlepass which is cool.

im not going to assume great things but im not going to instantly assume bad things.

that being said, this optimism doesnt apply to balance until proven otherwise.
