Micro disconnect or freezes?

I’m having issues were sometimes my game would stutter and freeze while in game, but my character still moves without input most of the time out of map or towards enemy team and dying. Worse cases were I freeze frame for a good 10 seconds and goes back to hero displays in game.

This can be caused by either packet loss or hardware bottlenecking. Are you seeing the orange packet loss icons flashing in the top left-hand corner?

I don’t see anything, the entire screen freezes and goes black sometimes. But I can tab out and stuff just not in game. If I see it again I will take a video of it with my phone and post it. I tried watching the replay and it shows my hero walking off like an idiot, but no freeze.

Let’s go ahead and get both a WinMTR and a dxdiag.

  1. Reboot your PC
  2. Only open Overwatch and play until you experience the issue.
  3. Press Windows Key + R, then type DxDiag and press Enter.
  4. In the DxDiag window, click Save All Information.
  5. Name the file “dxdiag” and click Save.

The connection test looks fine, all 438 packets are making it to Blizzard. However, your DxDiag is missing a lot of info from the top half of the report. From what I can see, you need to update Windows, and you’re using a Razer Chroma device, so it’s possible you’re being affected by this:

Otherwise, I would look at the power mode and make sure it’s set to high performance, or check for overheating. I have no idea if this is a laptop or PC due to the first part of the report missing.

Ok ill try those and see if it fixes some things. Thank you for the help so far.
