If Blizzard support sees this: Could we please have a toggle for voice chat on console?
PC Twitch streamers already have push-to-talk, so they can be entertaining when streaming but also help their team in voice chat. Would be nice to have something similar on console.
Thanks!

Use a capture card and software to stream your console play. Then you will have ptt.
Alternatively, hit your mic’s mute button lol.
I want to stream directly from the console. If I mute my mic, then it will also be muted on stream.
An in-game voice-chat mute is all that’s needed to make this possible. Basically, it’s a feature PC users already have.
Ya, and its a big reason that I don’t use comms on consoles. The open mic being the only way makes mic users obnoxious as all get out on console usually. Most folks don’t pony up the money for a high quality mic that won’t create extra sounds or activate when it doesn’t need to, so you end up hearing everything happening in their house lol.
That’s the current work-around, but it would be nice to still be able to contribute with call-outs while streaming. PC streamers can already do this by using push-to-talk.
