Whenever i try to use my mic in any voice chat it wont activate unless i scream on the top of my lungs. If i talk like normal it wont pick me up, Its like the voice sensitivity is super high. I didnt change any settings in OW/PC to make it not detect my normal speaking voice. It just randomly started doing this. I did a lot to try to fix it but to no avail. I did the following:
~OW~
Changed sound settings.
Look through OW/Blizzard launcher settings.
turned on push to talk.
Set microphone and headset as default devices.
Reinstalled OW.
Reinstalled Blizzard Launcher.
Checked for repairs
~PC~
Check Sound settings.
Check both properties sides of Playback and Recording and changed settings around.
Made sure mic and audio devices were set to default and on.
Made Communications tab in Sounds “Do Nothing”.
Check all drivers for updates.
Check for any PC updates and updated them
I did a lot that i don’t remember and may have not listed here.I could be missing something that’ll fix this super easily. My microphone works on everything else and picks me up perfectly. I looked through the forms for anyone else having the same problem as me. Any suggestions ill be happy to try or if you know how to fix it that’ll make me 10x’s happier. Cant be top500 COPA player without coms D:
