Mic not woking (extremely loud and static)

i was playing overwatch yesterday and a friend (who was in discord with me in voice chat) said he couldnt hear me in ingame voice chat so i looked in to it and went to the settings and everything was fine (i thought maybe it was muted) so i looked in to the battle.net laucher and when i test my mic its extremely loud and the only thing i hear is static and didnt response when i made sound to test it. it works fine in other applications but somehow not in battle.net laucher. how can i fix this? because i have the right audio channel and my mic works fine. (it did work before)

Some of these steps may help:

i tried all of them but it still doesnt work. even in the battle.net voice chat it doesnt work. all other applications/games it works but not in battle.net/blizzard games.

i found the problem in my volume mixer in the mic tab were multiple mic outputs and it said there were 2 but it kept choosing the wrong channel so i had to disable the wrong one and now it works.
