For a second tough it was Monster Hunter…
Wow what a self-centered attitude. Some people like to play tanks, others dps and yet others, believe it or not, support and like the randomness of which hero they get within the role they enjoy.
Just because you have a preference doesn’t make others wrong. I find MH OQ a mess because most games are decided by
- who gets most tanks
- who doesn’t get supports
- who gets their mains
I would much rather queue tank and play random tank heroes than the entire roster when I just like tanking. I also like to have a functional team and not 6 dps or no supports. I’m not going to tell you that you are wrong because MH OQ is a terrible mode because that is just an opinion and I hope you enjoy it because you do enjoy it.
Both can exist together. Strange they removed MH RQ as I always had quick queue times and rarely saw the same player twice so there were plenty of players playing it. I see the same players more often in OQ than I did in RQ.
People conflate MH with randomness
Like yeah there’s rng involved in a mode like MH…but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a game being played….playing into a really good comp (or playing with a bad one), or playing into oppressive dupe combinations that stagnate matches doesn’t feel good.
Playing into a team with huge perk advantage didn’t either
And even now, having to do research mid round because you don’t know which version of a hero you’re playing against, or even what your hero can do….doesnt feel good
You still want some level of consistency, structure, and control when you’re playing……that’s why many people wanted an RQ version of the mode (I’m not one of them by the way - limits maybe but not RQ)
The perks push the game mode further into the realm of chaos and randomness which is not really what the game mode is about…
Like I said, this change IS better….but it was better without any of the perks stuff…BECAUSE it makes it less about your flexibility/ability and MORE about who rolled the better dice/a guessing game
I didn’t understand MH with RQ at all. To me, that undermines the whole point of the mode.
MH is the best mode overall, and I’m ok with the inclusion of perks, but I’d like some sort of visual description of what perks I have when I spawn so I can look while running. I don’t want to have to stop and navigate menus to read them.
But it’s not the mode. There are 2 modes - MH OQ and MH RQ. Having roles doesn’t undermine the MH RQ mode - that’s why it exists, for people that prefer some structure but like random heroes within the role they like to play.
It’s not the same mode as MH OQ you play. Not sure why you care about a different mode aimed at a different audience?
It doesn’t exist though, last season they deleted it with no warning or mention
No one likes RQ MH. Stop telling people what to do. This is why the game is literally dead, you guys have this self centered attitude and believe without a doubt that RQ solves half your issues, regardless of the game mode.
I prefer the complete randomness of MH. I don’t care if I am losing or winning as long as its 100% random. I don’t like being locked into a role, if I wanted that then I would go slog through RQ, but I don’t want that, actually the majority doesn’t which is why no one is really playing OW.
Lmao, I thought the man was talking about Monster Hunter lol. I was like wtf?
First you tell me what not to like (in fact you tell me I don’t like it) then you tell me not to tell people what to do?
The you say I’m selfish for liking RQ but that you want everything to be OQ because that’s what you like.
Do you understand the concept of irony?
Just dishing out what some people have been doing for years. RQ was a bad idea, it’s bad for MH, and bad for QP. If people wanted it, they can have it in comp, but it didn’t have a place in QP. The game literally has suffered for it. Anyone of you could have stopped playing selfishly or played more than 2-3 characters at any point in time but no you want people to lose elements of randomness in MH? Absolutely not?
Strange that hardly anyone plays OQ then and most people seem to prefer RQ. Perhaps that’s because this is just your opinion and you are completely wrong?
That’s what happens when you make RQ the default “balanced” mode. It amazes me how stupid people genuinely wake up and choose to be. You do realize there is a completely new game that only has OQ that managed to attract the majority that quit OW, right? Or are you just going to be completely delusional like most people here. My guess is the latter, probably going to false flag this post because you don’t like being wrong, that’s not my problem though.
But I’m not wrong. I just don’t agree with your OPINION. I can just as easily say you are wrong (not because you are, which you are, but because I can).
You seem to be a pretty obnoxious type of person, so I’ll end my interaction here.
This is going to blow your mind but it was SO POPULAR that it went from Arcade to “Unranked” for the same reason. They limited max role to 3 to “balance” it a bit and as you can see, they took action to balance the perks there because its relevant.
Clearly Devs also care my dude, you just didn’t know it and thats fine. You were ignorant about this, now you have learned
Nah, they just need to limit max Tanks to 2. Its absurd that its 3, like the other roles, when clearly Tanks are stupidly powerful in comparison.
Triple Tank is the only thing ruining MH right now.
Im going to blow 2 minds today nice, here it is:
Not every Mystery Heroes player has the same opinion, its not a hivemind.
Yes RNG perks are fine. Some people will think the opposite, because you know, people are different
If you’re on PC, if you hit tab to see the scoreboard and middle mouse click, it allows you to hover over the icons you have (or any of the ones on the scoreboard) for a descriptor of which ones you got. The scoreboard being up doesn’t stop you from being able to run! I do this all the time since I’m not totally familiar with all the icons yet.
