I’m sure many people experienced this, as I found a whole article on it, but I don’t see any posts about it and it is not listed under known issues. So… Has anyone reported the issue with the merge queue just. Resetting?
I’m running on PC, trying to merge with my progress from my Switch. I would be number 8 in queue, close the queue menu, then reopen it about 2 minutes later and be at number 530 or some odd number, again.
This happened at least 10 times I think (and I restarted the game, Battle.net, and even my PC), before I managed to catch the window at “You are number 0 in queue,” by obsessively clicking and exiting the queue menu, and that caused the merge to actually begin.
This feels like it is a server or system issue on Blizzard’s end, though I could be wrong. But either way, we shouldn’t have to obsessively click on a menu to hope we catch it at the perfect time in order to utilize a feature. I got lucky, didn’t even know that would work, but I’m sure there’s a notable amount of people who haven’t been as lucky. I know I saw tons of posts about hitting “Skip for now,” due to frustration with the feature, and that is a whole other can of worms.
I’m glad the merging exists. I just want it to be functional.
