Listen guys, I feel that Mercy is NOT in a good spot right now. She isn’t as she used to be and that’s not okay. Her E ability pretty much is a one way ticket to death. Her E ability should be something used DURING A FIGHT not when someone is picked off before a fight. All the other healers have their ults that save the ENTIRE team. While Mercy’s ult just pretty much saves urself because the healing still doesn’t help your teammates if its a massive team fight. I am a Mercy main with at least 200 hours. I am not saying to bring back mass rez, BUT they should look at the E ability and they shouldn’t be like “Oh all the DPS mains don’t like the way mercy is NERF HER MORE” because that is what’s happening right now. Nobody is listening to the smart mercy mains who actually have great alternatives for Mercy. That’s all, say what you want
You can use it during a fight, just have to be a ninja about it. Don’t resurrect them right away, let them sit for a while and the enemy team will forgot about them, that’s when you make your move.

So the rework to stop Mercy from hiding and being “unengaging to play” is now promoting a sneaky playstyle where you essentially have to hide again?
I think her rez is fine. I still use it in combat here and there. It’s great for cleaning up a fight after it’s over. We can’t just go around instant rezzing players. Our decision to res should be thought out, so we get the most from it. Many players don’t deserve the rez anyway. I’m not busting my butt to go rez someone out of position haha. Instant normal res encouraged this too much.
Her ult…well, I wouldn’t complain if her 1 rez was instant again or the time to cast was cut in half. Her normal res functions fine though

Mercy’s Rez Ability has become a matter of hide and rez all over again, that or you rez someone after a teamfight, i say just make her 1 rez instant in valkyrie

pretty sure they are going to continue focusing on symm torb and hanzo, because of their bad pickrate, and not worry about mercy right now, because she is in the top 3 pickrates overall in comp.
Staying alive for a 1.75 second cast? Impossible.
As long as she has her normal regen like the one outside valk, it would be balanced, i feel like i could maybe make THAT trade

It needs to be an ultimate again, no massive rez, casting time is OK.
I feel like giving her the extra charge of rez in Valk back and even with just reduced cast times would make Valk feel like it actually helps your team. At least then rezing during Valk wouldn’t be a complete waste of time.
So Resurrecting after a fight? I’m confused stop switching stances.
People have the memory of gold fish and will leave you alone to try and hit other targets in combat if you are using GA well. Thus after a little while after everyone has run off you resurrect them. Alternatively if you have valkeryie up you can fly in over the top and rez from the air. I have gotten many a resurrects off in combat, just make sure the enemy isn’t camping the corpse and is preoccupied.
Its basically the same thing that flankers look for. Sure they might realize it mid cast, but most of the time you can get it off. Its when they know you there for the entire rez that its bad, if it takes 1 second for them to realize you are rezzing, than thats only .75 seconds of them shooting at you, which is a lot easier to manage.
If everyone has backed off away from you. That means the fight is over. A “Mid-Fight” is healing/DMBing heroes while they are in the process of killing the enemy team. Lucio’s boop Ana’s nade and Zenyatta’s Discord can be used when the enemy is near them and they can fight against them with those abilities. Mercy has to wait and hope that nobody is around her and chances are when that is the most common is when the fight is over OR her teammate is in a safe enough position before the fighting even happens to Resurrect them.
High tier players should know basic Resurrect mechanics. Seriously…
All of this I could say with Mass Resurrect where I flew through an oblivious team and pushed Q and Resurrected my whole team with Resurrect as an ultimate.
