As it should be. Mass Resurrect without invulnerability had the same success rate as current Rez if it was 6v1, and that’s at least a 10% chance of success here in plat.
just to expand they can do many things with it (and still have it as a regular ability)
- longer cooldown
- longer cast time
- less hp when ressed
- change mercy’s vulnerability during it
- give it a finite number of uses
- tie it to some sort of resource gathering
- shorten the time during which a person can be ressed - quicker decision basically
etc etc…many options…but stop acting like it CANT be tuned…thats ridiculous
You’re balancing an ability as if it were an Ultimate. How can you not see how wrong this is?
you can do that for any ability…thats what balancing is…
iono…a bullet
damage…travel time…drop off…frequency…spread…piercing ability…lock on…size…ability to crit…
stop treating bullets like theyre ultimates!!!
For a hero with one star difficulty, this is way too much for low level players.
Soldier, Pharah and Reinhardt are 1 star Heroes that have deceptively high skill ceilings.
Her base kit would still be just as easy as ever, but if you want some intricacies to master, there you go.
Mass Rez without invulnerability didn’t have the mobility changes or the delay as you mentioned.
I personally would expect that number to plummet…but at this point, I’m just speculating.
They should just remove Rez on cooldown and give her 2-3 channeled Rezzes during Valk.
I hate Rez on cooldown, but I hate mass Rez almost as much. Valk was always a good idea. It’s just never been tweaked right.
It still would make her gameplay clunky and more chaotic. Sure, i loved the old Mercy because of that awesome thrill and mind game she had, but that sounds like unreasonable changes which only would confuse everyone, apart from the fact that it would be really weak as well.
They’re not even remotely comparable. Stop being a Blizzard employee, please.
shoot i wish i had blizz money…and im not defending blizz…i just dont agree with the premise of this thread…there are many ways to address issues in the game…to presume otherwise is silly…im sorry blizz (my employers apparantly LOL) doesnt seem to agree with you
Thing is, your verbiage, so to say, is what I envision the Blizzard team to be saying all the time, as the reality of the rework being an abysmal failure, has yet to sink in. They’re desperately clinging to the false hope that they can somehow make it work.
