None of that particularly matters. Blizzard is determined to make rez on E work. While that is true, and the hero is too strong, they get toned down.
Moira healing through barriers wouldn’t do anything to address her biggest weakness, that she’s bad at anything that isn’t “heal the targets directly in front of my face”.
I’m not responsible for the things people say in the threads I make, and not to go off-topic, but I’m pretty sure that was part of a response they gave you when they were confronting you, after you called my thread “a cult”, no?
Otherwise, thanks for confirming what they said I suppose… I was wondering how you came to that conclusion with the post I made here.

Which is the entire problem with current Mercy, they’re trying to fit a round peg into a square hole. In their determination they are nerfing her kit which wasn’t a problem outside of rez as an ability.
I’ll take that as a “yes” to my question. Thank you for your time!
I must agree. It seems as though they know the solution the the problem, but choose not to follow through with it in order to save face. I say, with 30%+ of folks leaving Mercy to play other heroes, due to how boring she is now… I’d say they have nothing else to lose at this point by going back.
And in most cases, that is objectively false…
Edit: I saw your added explanation, makes sense now. Thanks.

A peg is a circle. If a circle of the same or smaller diameter meets a square with the same length to the diameter, the peg will fit with no room to spare on the sides that are touching. It’s basic geometry dude.
You can take that as a yes all you want, but you’ve also proceeded to ignore everything else that happened in that thread. Not to mention, misquoting me.
But okay. Take me out of context and make me seem like the bad guy. You didn’t even acknowledge that someone said this in your thread
The cast time would be pointless if it weren’t interruptable and she weren’t stuck to the area.
Likewise, the slow and interrupt would be pointless if there were no cast time.
They all work together in one main, overarching addition of a cast time.
It’s like if we were to nerf D.Va so her ammo count lowered from infinity to 100, and her reload time has to go from nonexistant to 1 second to make it work.
The nerf is still one single nerf: simply putting an ammo cap on her mech, but there’s 2 steps to doing it, capping the ammo and adding the reload.
Same goes for the cast time. 1 nerf, 3 steps to make it all actually work cohesively.
There was a damage boost nerf of sorts (not being able to damage boost: Hanzo’s Dragonstrike, D.va’s self destruct, and Junkrat’s trap.) Of course some were understandable to be removed but we are talking about abilities that have been in the game for over 2 years. They were recently listed as bugs even though they: Gave ultimate charge, gave her credit in the killfeed, and raised her stats if the ultimates got kills. It was more or less a nerf that Blizzard covered up as a “bug”.
