Seriously, take every idea that the content creator/streamer-class every raged against and re-implement them.
Just a few examples. You’ll annoy a bunch of losers with Youtube channels who just play Rivals, but who cares anyway - they don’t even play this game anymore.
why am i not surprised. mercy is the same hero that holds the game hostage ever since 5v5. its the same hero that marvel devs where smart enough to not copy. and it will ultimately be the only player base still left. enter 2026 as the meta is unlimited 6v6 open queue with 6 mercys vs 6 mercys.

I’d consider playing more OW if she was given her Season 1-2 movement back. I don’t really care if she’s meta as long as her movement feels good and she isn’t a complete throw pick.
Would Mercy players mass-migrate to Rivals if NetEase releases a copy of her?
The Mercy players would even be able to see the skins they buy thanks to the 3rd person view.

As someone who mains a character with a close range weapon and no access to the dps passive i hope they never bring back that movement again.
Its so incredibly unfun now playing against a f18 fighter jet with two charges on a 1 second cooldown (while leeching health from teammates) when all i have is a fly swatter with a bent rusty handle
The biggest mistake Blizzard ever made was condemning the Mercy mains. They are our queens. You do not treat royalty that way!

Did you even read the article? The only evidence they provided in that article is that mercy got higher winrate from overbuff while talking about play rate which is just non sense.
It is likely the result of juno losing popularity. Alec confirmed on twitter a while ago that Ana, mercy kiriko all see more play as juno losing popularity.
if she didn’t get more base damage but bonuses against Barriers it would be perfect, then she can support even more but not just go Gun-Ho and completely forget to heal. Lol.
Honestly, she’s the only reason I keep reinstalling this game and the only thing that I will miss.
