hey blizzard how about nerfing mercy “super jump” in OW 2 because her ability to forever stay out of range of reinhardt or brig is nutz. its BS fighting against.

Requesting Mercy nerfs on these forums? Watch out for suspicious cars and sleep with one eye open my guy, these people ain’t normal.
As Rein or Brig it’s not really your job to deal with Mercy. The most you can do is position yourself between her and her most likely GA target so you can intercept her and git gud with firestrike and whipshot. It’s frustrating as Rein to do pitiful damage against whoever she’s healing, but that’s pretty much all supports, she just does it most consistently.
If Mercy in particular is really being a problem and your DPS can’t do anything, swap to Winston/Dva/Ball/Doom to pressure her more directly, Ana/Zen to debuff her target or Bap/Moira/Zen to just kill her yourself from range.

I mean it’s kind of crazy but sort of all she has now lol. Without it she’d be awful IMO since she’d be a free pick all the time.

put it on a cool down and make it an actual button.
Widow, Hanzo, Ashe, Genji, Kiriko, Pharah, Baptiste, Echo can all get to highground where Brig and Rein can’t hit them, so I’m not sure why Mercy being in the air is an issue now.

nah, this one mercy was forever super jumping on a junkerqueen. wasnt coming close enough to hit as rein. and all the characters u mentions have a cool down and it is a button to use the ability. Bap isnt on CD but u gotta hold shift on the ground b4 u can use it. dont try and justify an exploit thats total BS like the super jump.
Yeah, but they can still simply jump to highground, where Rein and Brig will never get them ever. Some places Rein and Brig can get to, but there are also spots that characters without vertical movement can’t ever get to.
Just because you don’t like something doesn’t mean it’s an exploit… it’s literally a feature that the devs added. Calling it an exploit just makes it seem like you have no idea what you are talking about.

If I were you I’d rather use all this energy and redirect it to things like getting permahacked and oneshot constantly.

It’s an advantage vs melee heroes, but kind of a disadvantage vs most of the other heroes. She becomes slow, exposed, and rather predictable.
What? From Mercy’s basic in-game hero info: “while flying, press crouch to boost upwards”

Of course you can’t reach any of the flying characters on the melee ones.

It’s the only thing good about her currently tbh even if it’s frustrating to play against on heroes with no range, personally I just go Cree or ashe and delete her until she switches off genji works pretty well to with a well timed swift strike melee fan combo

You literally press crouch while using guardian angel to fly upwards.
It is in the ability description.
