I mean we never had a support tank at all, and I feel like mercy would be just perfect for it, so for a rework here’s some concept ideas:
like what if mercy was reworked or changed to be a support tank?
- like an area heal pulse
- caduceus staff siphons targets like moira but stronger
- she no longer flies but she gives 20% DR to all teammates she targets during her ultimate to compensate
- 650 health and has a passive where all healing at max health is converted to overhealth capped at 250HP
and here’s a image showing that she has biotic enhancements:

height: 7.5ft
highly enhanced strength
self rejuvenation
heavy resilient body
cravings to apple pie

Probably a promising idea for a new character.
But not Mercy

Did you look at his link? I dont think hes here to actually discuss Mercy balance. I think hes from the weirdo families of the Mercy mafia.

I did. And now I need a big, big, big bucket of bleach.

Did someone say bleach?!
proudly shows a gallon of bleach in a bucket
As interesting as the idea sounds, I think it would be too different than what we already envision for the hero (at launch). Now, for OW3? Sure, go for it. Have every hero be role swapped or something.

what do you think of the concept image from the link?
Honestly looks like a cursed bowling ball.
Oh, that’s a neat idea for an ult though, turn everything into bowling pins and everything it hits is an insta kill no respawn.
Wait… Hammond is already ball shaped…
Cursed Mercy ball skin when?
nah she’s not a ball just very big and full
what the actual hell did i just look at. ew wtf
