I really don’t understand the sudden hate of Mercy, even with Sojourn. It’s Sojourn who needs the nerf, not Mercy. Her railgun NEEDS to be an ultimate ability only, therefore removing the charge system she has altogether, with the exception that her spread gets reduced back to how it originally was.
Now onto Mercy. I feel like she’s in a balanced place. She usually has to sacrifice dealing damage to pocket in general, which puts more of the work onto the rest of the team to secure kills. She can’t heal multiple people at once nor can she heal that fast.
Any nerfs to her movement would also be stupid, it’s HIGHLY needed that she has her mobility stay untouched. It’s not even that hard tracking a moving Mercy anyways so I don’t see the issue.
Any nerfs to her abilities also means Zenyatta will be on the chopping block next so if Blizzard nerfs the angel, this game will definitely reach a new low.
That’s a skill issue on your part my guy. Learn to track better and stop queue’ing for dps if you can’t track a flying mercy. Ruining the game for the rest of us.
Ashe who was busted even without mercy? Oh and Ashe was released overtuned as an excuse not to buff mercys healing (they buffed it anyway after ashe was balanced(
She always was the problem is she enables and amplifies real issues like Sojourn and whomever else have you. Also… wish we could have actual discussions on heroes because I’ve noticed people just start reporting you if they don’t like your opinion.
Happening a lot more with Mercy… so yeah kinda concerning how some Mercy mains act but thats just me.
It because people just want to kill whoever is in front of them, and not supports. so when they get their 1 pick of the game they get salty that they get rezzed immediately making their 1 pick worthless
I can think of 3 times in ow history where her boosting someone was a problem, and 2 of them, the boosted hero was already OP to begin with
Ashe, who was made specifically for Mercy to pocket
Hanzo, whos dragons could kill through trank with a boost
And Sojourn, who was deliberately nerfed so she could still one shot with a pocket
3 times in the half decade this game has been around for.
I mean like. Can we get the mercy the forums describe? They oresent her as this unhittable beast that always gets rez off, and db breaks literally every hero and not just one already busted dps
Yeah, once every blue moon, either when the devs made an oversight (hanzo) or specifically wanted Mercy to help heroes one shot. We don’t need to change boost just because the devs keep making the same stupid balance decision.
