I play battle medic in Tf2 and I win 1v1s all the time.

My favorite is when said Mercy players use her Valkyrie to try and dive bomb you. I had someone attempt that every single time they got their ult a few days back, after I killed them once by accident really early on in the game.

I’ve 1vs1’d plenty people with mercy’s pistol. Especially when they are guarding the body of a dps I was boosting and I want to resurrect them. There are also some unfortunate people who try to take 1vs1 with me, only I end up slapping them a new one.
Just yesterday I killed 3 people with valkyrie because I felt like it, low hp doomfist because he was harassing me, moira who had tried to kill me before by flanking and ashe because they rely too much on dynamite and can’t aim. Felt good especially dinking down the moira for petty revenge.

A Mercy tried 1v1ing me with her little pistol as McCree today.

The pistol isn’t that bad at all, it has a higher DPS than Genji or Lucio’s primary fire.
The pistol is super satisfying to get dinks with

Ok, when they’re low health and she wants to finish them, or when she has the upper hand with Valkyrie. I can understand why Mercy would choose to use her pistol in some scenarios.
But constantly running into DPS and trying to 1v1 them? Why?

Mercy with good aim can kill Sombra for example (Sombra’s primary is trash). Also when someone tries to kill her 1v1 it’s much better to switch to pistol and try to do damage rather than run away and die anyways

Also when i cant dps or my dps sucks i usually go try to get kills as healer then.

I’ve solo-killed Roadhogs as Mercy before, so it’s always worth trying if I need to.
Her damage is pretty nice, it’s landing the shots and not having your team die while you’re shooting that really holds her back.
bet that hog quit the game right after the match.

He swapped off Hog while respawning and went Orisa, they were stomping us as a team but he just couldn’t 1v1 me.
A lot of Hogs I play against seem to get a little cocky when they’re up against a lone Support (unless it’s Ana) and forget that most of the Supp roster has nice damage outputs and they shouldn’t just expect a won duel.

They normally play DPS.
It is a test if you are even half capable. A half capable player kills her, a not so capable dies.
After all if she wins its good, if she looses enemy team just lost half of their healing power.
It is kinda dumb and on higher elo rarly seen, because that the realm where she dies to DPS rather quick.
