I wonder, is it a joke from Mercy or she actually doesn’t have pulse?

We know she’s not aging and regenerate because of her nanobots. Is she even truly alive?

I think it’s a joke for when she kills someone, she ‘checks your pulse’ and there’s nothing…

Cuz they physically look the same, Mercy due to her biotic junk and Mei due to Cryofreezing for so long (duh)

But they do age.

Just because Mercy “ages” doesn’t necessarily mean it’s visible. She visibly emits biotics from her body to rez people (which I headcanon is because she invented an artificial gland to produce biotics and implanted it into herself).

She may have done that for the sake of saving lives on the battlefield, but Mercy may have accidentally granted herself eternal youth in the process. The biotics inside her would prevent her body from breaking down, which would bar her from all the normal developments of aging: wrinkled skin, gray/thinning hair, saggy… um. Parts.

She hasn’t really been alive after the nerfs. She is only kept “alive” by some darker powers we don’t understand yet.

It’s clearly a joke that someone is dead. She checks for a pulse and then shrugs in a form of sarcasm. I save it for Tracer’s and Genji’s personally.
