What if Mercy was always balanced like that from the beginning, would you have played her and think she’s boring?
I’d personally like it if there were no slow for the cast time, or at worst, a 10% slow. Her mobility would already be limited, and a slow could make it boring to use.
For the LoS thing, you could increase the range a bit to make up for it? Especially considering that there’d be a cast time.
I really like Titanium’s suggestion with the burst heal on Rez, which would allow it to also help sustain your team.
There’s a lot of ways to fix Mercy, and it really frustrates me how much Blizzard seems to ignore them and instead just keep on forcing the current Mercy.

I know you’ll never read this, but your opinions can be wrong. And, in the case of your post, your opinion was wrong because Widow and Brigitte both have impactful moments. You can’t deny that.
But, you do you. 
Opinions are not facts, they are not wrong you just disagree with them. Everyone is entitled to have opinions whether you like them or not. He feels like widow and brigette are not impactful and you do. Neither of you have to be wrong, I agree with you that widow and brigette do have moments to shine but you don’t need to get toxic.
I suppose to clarify, I was referring to “wow moments” with the press of a Q, and I did say that all heroes have that potential to have impact through skilled gameplay and not just with one ability (a la Mass Rez and how much of a “wow” moment it was for some people)
It goes without saying Widowmaker is one of the, if not the most impactful hero in the game. She is the de facto 1 shot damage dealer in the roster. Her ult is boring. Does that make her boring? No. The same way, in my opinion, Valk doesn’t make Mercy any more boring than when she is not ulting.
The same with Brig… definitely a hero with mixed feedback but her impact is something to behold, with or without her ult, which in my opinion is lackluster itself. I don’t think any hero is not impactful… I think that not all heroes have a “wow moment” with the press of Q, and not all of them should.
People who try to shut down discussion like that automatically lose the privilege of participating in discussion with me is all. Especially when they are too busy formatting their reply to dissect my opinion piece by piece instead of, you know, actually reading with comprehension.
if she is boring to play there is 27 other heroes you can play
her pickrate is so high i doubt most players find mercy boring, they always seem to instalock her in my games
Yeah my post was replying to the person you muted, they were being toxic. Nobody should be told their opinion is wrong, its shuts down the possibility of mature rational discussion.

Sorry if I came off as rude. My issue with their post was that when you present your opinion as a means to prove your point, I should be allowed to say whether that opinion is flawed, because it’s that opinion that is backing up your argument.

That 80 hp/s heals is a bit much.
Sounds quite solid though.

the balance team can’t seem to be able to actually balance anything and I think if she got some sort of other ultimate and a revert to 60 hp/s she’d be quite nice.
I think that would be engaging.

Thank you for saying that, its nice to see someone do that. Its fine to disagree and make counter points or point out flaws. But telling people flat out their opinion is wrong tends to shut down discussions, but like I said I agree with your point.
Valkyrie lasts for 4 seconds, that’d be 320 hp per one use of Valkyrie. Sounds like it’s too much, but it isn’t instant, 4 seconds feels much longer in-game.
I think there was a lot of confusion going on, because I thought they were talking about overall impact with Brigitte and Widow, but they were really just referring to their ults.
Honestly I was mainly just annoyed at the comment they made about ‘forcing a narrative’, and I kinda acted out on that annoyance.

I mean, it is moira’s spray can.
But Moira can heal multiple targets at the same whenever she wants as long as she has her resource meter charged. With this version of Valkyrie, Mercy gets an opportunity to do the same just for the duration of Valkyrie, thus just for 4 seconds, which would be enough to help your main tank in a tough situation.
Mercy’s currently the worst at what she was designed to be the best at.
