- 6v6 → 5v5 = 1 less tank to heal → more blue beam uptime and an easier time saving DPS
- movement → broken. Basically they coded in a bug which also resulted in new techs that were not possible before and it’s very spammable, right now Mercy has the best mobility in the game
- Rez → in low elo focus fire is poor so it’s easier to pull off rezes, and in high elo 1-2 extra rezes can mean swinging a teamfight. In high elo it’s also possible to use Rez because teammates will help you by e.g. bodyblocking for you or dropping an IF for you. The ability is trivial to use but one of the most impactful in the game.
- Flankers are ALL nerfed → Mercy doesn’t have to worry about being attacked, as long as you play cover you are fine, also peeling flankers in 5v5 is easier because supports are less busy healing 2 tanks.
- Not fun to play against (both in low elo and high elo going vs a pocketed Phara/Echo/hitscan makes you wanna uninstall, at the same time the Mercy’s team also has a bad time, because it feels like you are playing spectator mode, the only 2 people who get to have fun are the pocketee and the Mercy, now I’d say creating a game where 2/10 people get to have fun is not fair.
Pls nerf Mercy, I’d say GA needs to be 2.5s and Rez needs to be an ultimate. This will promote intelligent use of GA, currently it’s the ability that takes the least skill in Mercy’s kit, to give a comparison of how broken it is, imagine if Tracer could get 1 Blink charge every 1.5s, it still wouldn’t be as strong as Mercy because she wouldn’t blink vertically, but you could spam it so hard that you would be unhittable.
Rez can rez 2 people for all I care but as a basic ability is not OK. Make it an ultimate and make it Rez 2 people or 1 tank and lower the stunlock or something so that it’s a bit easier to spam it (as an ultimate).
Blue beam also needs some form of cooldown or some mechanic to encourage a gameplay different from pocketing 1 person 80% of the game.

She’s literally ulting.
Her movement gets further buffed, her HP constantly regens…
the whole point of that ult is to make her a nightmare to kill. An exaggeration of her basic state.

The best support is kiriko, mercy and ana. Right after that we have lucio and zenyatta. Discord orb is underated and if zen can survive and being able to see the enemy tank then he is worth it because having discord orb on enemy tank in a brawly teamfight is oppressive. The support rooster is the most balanced, problably because they are few so its easier to balance but thats besides the point. Only thing needed is buffing or reworking Brig.

and she will still have that movement but currently it’s excessive, if GA was 2.5s, good Mercys would still win but bad Mercys would lose. Her ult also needs a ultimate cost increase, you can spam that thing, the amount of times you see a Mercy misplay the ult and it doesn’t matter is ludicrous.
this cannot be said for most ults, most ults take skill to get value from, for example Dragonblade, Nano (timing etc.), Sound Barrier. Mercy ult is hard to not get value from.
