Even if the entire player base complains about something from Mercy (like happened during moth era) Mercy mains will deny it and blame it on DPS.

Theres also another pattern … people believing that Mercy is exempt from nerfs and she should be more privileged than other heroes. Really weird how many heroes can get on the chopping block, getting insane nerfs with no compensation buffs, and Mercy receives 1 and suddenly the universe is collapsing.
Yeah, there was a period in OW1 where it became the community versus Mercy, only what people didn’t realize is that it was a small section of whack-a-doodle Mercy’s and not the majority. Unfortunately, I think a lot of people still paint us with the same brush despite most of the ringleaders from that time having poofed.

Because it’s officially permitted by developers themselves. Strange to expect something else from community, with developers giving them an example.
Mainly because developers literally looking for reasons to do so. Sometimes it feels like they do completely idiotic changes on purpose, just so Mercy has another reason for nerfs, despite not even being that good.

One of the reason to become and Ana main. Ana was never bad. Even if she was not meta, she was a solid pick and had impact. If she was meta it was terrible for tanks and supports, because they could not do their job.
Thats kind of why I hate seeing Kiriko in the patch notes. The latest delay with her Ofudas is the beginning of trashing her. I hate the change and think it was not necessary in the first place.
