It’s crazy to think we’ve had her current ultimate longer then her old ultimate.
When I think of Mercy, I still imagine her old ultimate. I don’t think that’ll ever change.
RIP Mass Rez. Gone, but will never be forgotten.

Mercy’s rez and her ult line was one of the most iconic things that social media latched onto when the game came out, so it’s not surprising that many people still think of that rather than Valkyrie. (Especially for people who stopped playing the game long ago.)

I’ll miss being the act of god and the savior of never ending team fights. I won’t miss the pressure or the being told to hide to rez everyone.
Sometimes we miss what is bad for us or in this case the game.

People are forgetting that valkyrie was her original ult back in development. It technically is the old ult.
I miss the level 3 sentry gun…

People are also forgetting it was scrapped for mass rez because the devs thought it was boring and didn’t fit the character

Literally the only difference between that scrapped ultimate and her current ultimate is “wowee she can fly”

While Mass Rez is and always will be incredibly iconic, it just wasn’t balance-able.
I dont ever want Mass Rez back, but I do still miss that feeling of swooping in and getting a huge Rez. It made me feel like the star.
Wish Valk could give me that feeling
