doesn’t count

nah lets be totally honest, people are only buying this for the eye candy mercy skin.

Ik this is a really silly question but does the rose gold version have the same sound effects i would persume so since its a recolour but if it doesn’t that would be sad

I’m not going to argue with you.

Doesn’t matter - as long as BCRF gets the donations. The first time this event ran, it raised so much money. I only care that we either meet or exceed that amount this time around.

I agree that it doesn’t matter as the money goes to them regardless - the intent or motive of the buyer is completely irrelevant which is why the argument makes no sense to begin with…

This is what we (myself, mega and other supporters of the return of the skin) have argued for years…

I mean… by what metric. Not like it’s gonna flop :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy: if the bcrf is cool with it who cares

From a “one-off charity event” there will be several I won’t buy anything if you get everything afterwards anyway

assuming no, it’s just a slight recolour of it they didn’t add anything fancy to warrant new effects etc.

But who knows, there could be a surprise

Not a fan of doing ‘exclusive’ time-gated reruns, should have just been the new one instead.

Even with 100% proceeds, it’s a little disapointing that they are just farming Mercy players deliberatly, back-to-back each seasons.

Give it a year or 2, it’ll start happening again

Could’ve just released the recolor, but no.

Yet another slap in the face for long time players.

I haven’t seen much of any in this thread and that makes me so mad!

Just wait. They’re probably going to be released during the Halloween or Winter Wonderland event for literally no reason.

They’re doing this to make Mercy player spend more 100% (they get the taxes and fees this time).

They’re all hiding and in denial they ever said anything about it. Maybe the paranoid ones are going through their forum post history deleting their said inflammatory commentary so they won’t be called out on it. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

It’s fine, but now it’s pretty clear that they will do anything for a buck if the rerun is worth it (they get the fees and taxes from both skins, on what was likely never to be resold).

The concept of “you had to be there” just doesn’t exist much more in Overwatch 2. Might as well make a petition to ask a rerun of Blizzcon skins.

Now bring back 6v6! People that prefer 6v6 should be able to play it instead of 5v5.

Yes, yes… Blizzard is a for-profit business and not a charity. Remind me: what is so wrong that they get a tax write off for hosting a charitable fundraiser again? It’s a good incentive for them to keep doing this; it benefits everyone!

In seeing all this (and please don’t take this as hate), I really hope they do a charity skin for a general cancer society/cause; that is where money is needed the most (or for general cancer), very smart people allocate the funds to do the greatest good for the most cancer patients possible when you donate to more general cancer funds.

Breast cancer, based on how common it is and its ‘celebrity cancer status (along with prostate, etc.)’ is one of the most detected, and treatable forms of cancer in part due to how ‘popular’ it is. Again, zero hate (my father’s sister died from breast cancer), it’s more about allocating resources like this to do the greatest good for the most amount of people, or getting the most value from each donated dollar.

I’m very glad we’ve progressed to the point we have with breast cancer treatments, and it’s a testament to our species that we can do almost anything if we put our minds and resources to it .

Yes, why sell an old skin for “you had to be there” moment. It’s a slap on the wrist to OW1 players who were there and supported early on.

Doing 1 bundle was plenty enough, they’re doing 2. If anything, Mercy players are just being farmed for their cash the past like 3 or 4 seasons consistently.

They know they can get something out of doing 2 bundles and not just 1. It’s cool for BCRF 100% don’t get me wrong.
