From a lore perspective Reaper cant die and Mercy has the suit that keeps her young.
Pretty much all the characters excluding omnics will be grow old and die.
Unless they start dating omnics, which is present in the ow universe, they are going to feel the loss of losing their loved ones to the point where they may end up together just because they know they will always be around.
Mercy would date an Omnic before Reaper.

Reaper I don’t know about… but mercy ages. She uses her tech to stay looking young but we have confirmed she does age. She may just LOOK younger because of her tech or possibly because everyone in the OW artstyle has incredible skin (check out Hogs near flawless complexion). Eventually her cells will cease to be able to reproduce and she will die.

I suppose. But currently she is not funded for research and has no confirmed activity beyond a field medic in the middle east. While she has her regenerative tech it still seems to work with the bodies natural capabilities and would be limited by the DNA damage inherent in our cells.
That being said Reaper is apparently visibly messed up under that mask, so while he can “phase” he may be even less “immortal”. It’s very possible he’s currently dying even faster since his cells are constantly regenning.
What if mercy’s suit can self rez?
that’s the same tech though. I don’t think it matters? Her res seems like some kinda of concentrated version of her heal, not a separate tech. We really haven’t had a lore reference for it. If it was actual back from the dead stuff I don’t think Gerard would still be dead.

I can argue however that reaper and mercys personal morality likely are not compatible. So while , all things aligning , they could “be together”… it kind of ignores who they are as people.
People change though. In a hundred years from now when everyone is gone, reaper could be a good guy while mercy is head of Pachimario kart industries

Completely pulled out of my payload. However due to all the massive plot holes in the writing thats the only conclusion I could come up with. Otherwise she would be almost like Ana in present day OW

If you have a sock and it has a hole in it you patch it. Then you patch it again when another hole forms. How many times do you patch the sock before it no longer has its original material?
