We have now a melee tank(Reinhardt), melee support (Brigitte)… So can we have a melee dps now?
Suppose a slim dual sword character who can block incoming damage by holding 2 swords crosswise whose
SHIFT can be a whirl move that is spinning for a particular range holding 2 swords…
His E can be a grapple ability with which he can grapple towards an enemy and then kill that enemy with swords.
And ULTIMATE can be ranged sonic slash coming from sword. Its an electric sword which can catch electricity from sky and throws those electric shock projectiles during the ultimate

I would like to hear some responses about the possibility of a melee dps in future…other wise will not get my hopes high

No doomfist is not melee… He is in a peculiar state… Also his primary is not melee

He doesn’t have the tools or survivability to do this, even though he should have them.

nah. i just want to m1911 gun hero. Faster than McCree, but lower damage. And slower whan S76 with higher damage
So what genji also has a melee ult? But a melee hero means a full primary melee hero with less mechanical skills
What if he was this cool Ugandan wrestler guy with a giant mechanical fist that he could slam people with? That would be cool…

Doomfist is melee DPS. His whole kit is based around it.

No Doomfist isn’t melee… Only one ability is melee doesn’t mean he is a melee hero… A melee hero’s primary should always be melee and without any cool downs like Rein and Brigitte

People claiming Doomfist is Melee, when the vast majority of this damage comes from this primary.

All 4 abilities are melee, only his primary fire isn’t melee and that’s not even a big part of his kit

It’s the biggest part of his kit.
As i said earlier… Melee means primary ability melee and most importantly without any cooldowns
The most obvious one is Doomfist… Reaper is pretty much melee.
