I’ve been gone from this game for nearly a year. Was the very first FPS i’ve played and when i left i checked out several others FPS games. I gotta say that all the games i’ve played, i’ve never seen a character so badly designed as Mei. Like what were you devs thinking? 1st off she’s pretty tanky with 250hp, but then you give her a healing shield (that stupid ice block thing) So she can just avoid all damage and heal and if that wasn’t enough, you also give her an ice wall to completely separate her from the attacking players (if the wall is placed right) So defensively, she’s obviously a bit over powered. But thats not enough was it? You also had to give her attack the ability to freeze the other players in place for several seconds making them vulnerable to all other attacks. I’ve never played a FPS game with a character like Mei that makes me absolutely hate the game. Like at the end of the night after facing several Mei players, i absolutely hate this game. Hate is very different from dislike. I dislike pvp in some games like black desert, but a character like Mei makes me absolutely hate the game and not want to return to the game. It really makes me wonder what you devs were thinking when you designed that character? Did it not occur to you that making her this overpowered defensively may actually make players STOP playing your game?
Yeah Mei has always been the devil. They key is to make sure to finish her off after she blows her CDs.

This why the player Overwatch community is not the smartest. Same thing was said towards Orisa, Roadhog and even Sombra. They were shown to be very good heroes.
Now Mei and Reaper are meta in OWL Stage 4 thanks to 2-2-2 and no more GOATs. Mei and Reaper were always good and don’t need any nerfs. Think other heroes could be looked at for buffs and nerfs.
I want to see Moira buffed and Widowmaker nerfed. That is just me.
But all these Nerf Mei and Reaper threads? No, they are fine. Let them be meta for once. Mei has never been meta and when she finally became meta. People complained.
That is the overwatch community and I for one think it’s time for a change. I know a lot of mei one tricks who get a lot of hate or avoided. Now they can have fun without people getting mad at them. Only thing that is bad is when another mei player uses mei from that one trick, but hopefully the other damage can flex.
Anyway, I can’t wait for the Role Queue Beta test to hit live servers next week.

I find it interesting how there are threads asking to nerf Widow while there also being threads asking to nerf Mei…
You do realize Widow can one shot Mei. Range is Mei’s strongest counter.
Which is it? Is Mei OP? Or is Widow OP? One literally counters the other.
If the hero can kill me, they need to be nerfed.
It’s sarcasm, there is no logical reason to nerf Mei, unless you hate getting ‘b***** slapped’ by a fat woman who isn’t actually fat.

I’ve been playing Mei since I started this game in December of 2016. When has she ever been Meta? I’m politely asking for specific time frames.
She was meta for like a week then got her ult charge nerfed. Multiple times? Wrong.

I think many asking for nerfs see opponents’ heroes having an OP kit however did it ever occur to them that they just got outplayed by someone more skilful? 
I still don’t understand the sudden outcry against Mei. I thought y’all found her annoying, but not OP to the point of needing a nerf.
Please go back to the other games you played, this one isn’t for you.
