Mei-ga Man, a PvE classic platformer concept

This is a PvE mode concept using PTR’s Dummy bot feature and elements from classic-style platformers

The player uses whatever hero they like, and every hero has their own boss and grunt AI pattern.

Every level will have set spawns for grunts with 2 bosses per level. One per point, and Payload maps will have 2 bosses at the end.

Each grunt hero will have a predictable movement and attack pattern. Sorta like the enemies in platformers. For example. Moira will sit on its spawn location and spam right click when the player gets close. And Hammond will roll around a specific spot. Mei acts like a Mega Man Metaur. She cryos every 5 seconds and moves around with her frost beam.

Boss heroes will have more varied attack patterns that utilises all their abilities.

Victory commences once you beat both bosses. After a boss is beaten you are able to control the point. In payload maps, just try to get to the end and beat the bosses at the finish point. Payload isnt needed.

Defeat commences once you lose all your “lives”. 3 lives just like Mega Man

Every map will be used for this and Im gonna try to work on it once the dummy feature is live. I may outsource if anyone is willing.
