On the topic of Lawbreakers:
From what I’ve heard, even despite its literal nonexistent player base today, it came with a Report Feature on Day 1…
Yeah, no. I’m not really going to be forgetting that 15 month wait…

I feel like overwatch is super toxic
More then usual for some reason
The meta is shifting, forcing people to change strategies and character choices. This tends to make people cranky.
Combine this with a SR system that forces you to play with unreliable strangers (because grouping with friends punishes you), an easily abused report system, and a lack of permanent PVE mode to relax with, and you’ve got a pressure cooker of problems ready to boil over.
On top of that, the gameplay is really fun, I’ve been playing more of it recently with a small group that makes premades and queues to bypass the lack of a playerbase
Better than having long waits on “we hear you” comments here
OW makes people toxic. Especially competitive. I have now gotten used to the environment and get less toxic and tilted in comp than I actually get in QP. but my GF just started an account (she used to play Qp on mine but she wanted to give comp a try so she made her own, at least one good thing of free new accounts on console I guess!)
And it’s shocking. She who literally usually just plays for the fun ( doesn’t mean she doesn’t want to win) gets tilted and pissed when she plays competitive. I’m scared she’ll actually start to become toxic in the near future.
Somebody who’s the furthest away from having a competitive nature. She even laughs off crushing defeats on smash!!!
I’m telling you, OW is the worst environement I’ve witnessed. The main reason for this environment is the feeling of entitlement that people have: I bought the game, I can do what I want.
This mentality is what ruins the game. I’ve played mobas like HotS, mmorpgs like FFXIV/WoW, other hero shooters like Paladins… NONE compare to OW.
People say it’s the same in other games, I say it isn’t. Other games force you to remain competitive and try because you cannot switch off your hero. Ow allows you to go to spawn and pick symmetra to illustrate that you are now officially throwing.
Ow has clear in game options that allow you to basically say: Eff you guys, I’ll now officially throw this game.
This is why OW is so toxic. So someone picks widow… what happens? Trash talk, and the widow either turns off mic or picks torb/sym/DF or whatever. Game is basically over.
In other games someone picks a particular champion/hero? Well either try to work with it or not, but it’s done. Complaining or bullying them into switching won’t work.
Best way I ever heard this described was a thread on the old forums titled: Overwatch is a selfless game being played by selfish people.
Another update… anyone know what it is about?
Edit: never mind, apparently it’s a charity mercy skin and some minor bugfixes. Tha k god we got the same patch as pc, otherwise we wouldn’t know
Whoot! The custom browser controller navigation problem has been fixed. My bug report actually got noticed!
Can anyone confirm if they fixed the bug about the Pink Mercy not being granted after the donation?
I went through the psn store after the patch went live and still haven’t had it granted?
It’s supposed to have been fixed, but the hotfix may not have come through yet.
CONSOLE PLAYERS UNITE

Found another bug, friendly aim assist on Ana locks on to a friendly Torbjorn turret.
Speaking of aim assist, this happens with Widow, not sure about Ana, but sometimes when scoped in (where aim assist is disabled for both), there’s a brief second where Widow’s scope has aim assist
It’ll drag along without input )following Genji for instance) instead of staying steady
Found this thread yesterday, I was up all night reading everything! (just couldn’t pull away)
my eyes hurt but I regret nothing!
Here’s the truth, blizzard wasn’t really interested in port Overwatch to consoles. It was Activision who forced blizzard for the sales. It’s 2 years and Jeff haven’t been posted feedback for consoles, and he won’t. I’m really happy for HiRez, they do care for consoles, we have skins, eSports, feedback. Paladins is better in consoles.
Unfortunately, I really think this is the case. Also because the devs couldn’t make it work with apple for a port. I gurss they considered console to compensate for losing their mac potential clients.
It really is a shame. But the more time passes, the more i feel like giving up. I’m glad i didn’t give them money. I don’t care about lootboxes, yeah cosmetics are cool and everything, but it can never compensate for the fact that we’re being completely neglected.
Only thing i can hope for is that people will, from now on, think twice and acgually start questioning blizzard and not think of them as those super nice guys that would do everything for their players. That’s not the kind of company this is. Such a company doesn’t exist.
I’m just glad I can buy the Pink Mercy skin, if Blizz got even a portion of it I’d begrudgingly skip out on picking it up as protest to the treatment console is getting.
I am just sad we don’t have Loot box gifting yet? Like how?
Sony is taking 22%…
I decided not to buy it. For one I’m a vollege student short on money, and two: even if it’s a donation, it goes under blizzard’s name and not mine. So basically they get the ‘reward’ as benefactor while I’m just the guy who did it for a skin.
Prefer making my own donatoon when I start working
