I do not hate Mercy. She is beautiful and her playerbase is wonderful. Even those toxic ones because I like 'em feisty.

I like Mercy as long as she isn’t a moron healbot and actually plays properly.

The one thing I do hate though is the Mercy/Lifeweaver support combo. It’s the ultimate laziness, that makes the rest of the team have to work so hard to compensate.

I concur. For some reason i always had a hard time with Mercy Weaver combo, and one of them would have the audacity to blame the rest of the team for the struggling

I actually like Mercy, quite a lot. There’s nothing I really hate about her, except maybe when me (or my teammates) do not react fast or well enough to block her rez. But that’s really on us, not on Mercy for doing her job.
Mercy is a very interesting hero, with a very specific playstyle that is harder to master than most people think. Sure, it’s easy to beam an ally, but moving properly around, selecting which teammate to heal or boost, using cover and GA and tricks correctly, that’s not that easy.
I like Mercy.

Hmm, no ? If you don’t think Mercy has a very specific playstyle, you must not be playing her much (which wouldn’t be surprising, since you seem to hate her that much ^^).

Rez and her skill ceiling is essentially dragging on the floor so she’s upscaleable without being busted for anyone who clicks on her portrait.

Couldn’t agree more. Like 90% of us are indeed brain dead, but you can tell when a Mercy is carrying a lobby. When she is played well and has half decent DPS she is oppressive as hell
