she is fun to play but yea even in sombra’s weakened state i think i have more of a chance to win. its weird… i was on a 7 game win streak today with sombra, even with gimped hack and i thought hey its widow time… lost the last 3 and later i noticed i only won if the tank just dominated the other tank
at least with sombra i can make the whole enemy team focus me and play cat and mouse. a lot of times that helps even if i dont have the best damage in the world. just get the enemy team so mad they mess up heh
with widow its like if the tank is getting pushed or he isnt making space i better be 100 percent accuracy but im the blue widowmaker not the red one

thats the experience I have with widow. It feels like I pick Widow and the enemy automatically counters and focues me, giving me no room to breath, resulting in me closing the game three games later.
Like I want to play Widow, she is the only one I want to play but its rare to have a single fun game from start to finish. So I do not play for weeks, losing my aim sharpness and having even less fun when I return. Thanks OW2.

Yep, that’s what happens to me as well. I actually used to break her out just for “opening picks” to see what value I could get and then immediately swap off because I do not want to play the entire game getting chased. That was her ideal use and I was fine with it for quite awhile. I am going to return to my humble one trick beginnings once I am sorted into Slytherin. I have been practicing a bit and so far, so good.
yea a lot of times you are on your own as widow. i hardly get pocketed as her so i try and play the VERY far away game but it really depends on how your tank is doing. i think she is more team dependent than sombra. it depends on your rank and how good you are with widow tho. i mean i am sure if you have a high crit rank you are the tank and make space lol
