Mcree’s doomsday ultimate

So I was fascinated by Baptistes ultimate and how it doubles damage. I saw mcrees ult got a mild buff to it and my brain started turning…
I did the math and with the max damage boost in the game (260% including Baptiste) in 2.5 seconds mcrees ultimate does 1787.5 damage PER BULLET
After that with the recent buff; if you use the full 6 second duration with the ramp up, you will do 6792.5 damage PER BULLET
Unless you have a Dva on your team or a Zarya you will have at least 5 dead teammates if you have a shield because 1 bullet could delete a rein shield and the people behind it get hit by the rest.
tl;dr : with every boost in the game Mcree can do 40755 with all his bullets combined!
Disclaimer: I’m doing this for fun, I’m not advocating for a nerf. I like mcrees ult and its potential.

Its fun playing with numbers, but nobody is gonna getting locked for 4+ seconds,

His ult is op against bots tho.

The true doomsday is that if you consider it, A widow using bapistes ult will 1 shot 200 hp heroes with a single bodyshot,

let that sink in

200% - Baptiste

30% - Mercy

50% - Orisa

50% - Ana

330% max damage boost (didn’t include Discord Orb because that percent is calculated after boosts and not with them.)

ahaa something like that sounds like a big balance problem.

but sure, blizzard will fix this problem, on like 6 months.

He’s gonna be mopping up bosses way faster in this year’s Junkenstein. Hell, he’ll be able to reliably and expediantly kill junkensteins monster.

it’ll have a little more flair in the harder Archives too. (looking at you, Heavies)

On the other hand a well executed Immortal field craps on enemy Dead Eye.

yes and no. No, McCree won’t be wiping people, but the enemy team will be likely completely grouped up in the field. he’d still have to be cautious, but it’s an easier focus and will still deal a loooot of damage, potentially dropping the lot of them to 20% HP.

edit : people also frequently feel High Noon is a lackluster ult and that is best quality is the reload. in this case you *could * consider activating High Noon with the explicit purpose of baiting out Immo Field and putting it on the 20 second cool down

Can’t wait to play him at junkestein.

I will have my revenge vs frankestein roadhog.

I can tell you just added Zenyatta, you don’t add zenyatta you multiply whatever number you have by him so it would be this equation
B=base damage
(Bx(1+(.3+.5+.5+1))x1.3
With this equation putting the damage number you provided in would end up with
1787.5x3.3 (230%) = 5892.15 damage
5892.15x1.3 (discord orb)=7659.795 damage

7659.795 being the actual end result number

Baptiste is 100% damage boost not 200%

Put the invincibility thing on him and Mcree can ult in broad daylight

Nah the real threat is firestrike. Piercing OHKO for 200hp heroes.

Yeah, especially with the bullet damage speed after 2 seconds

“It’s hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh increasing voice pitch NOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!

Draw!

A widow headshot amped by Baptiste ult is going to do 600 dmg, truly FUN

… Holy crap thats amazing

Its probably gonna suck in game but thats actually very cool. For 2 ults, its obviously gonna be strong but thts CRAZY.
Im super excited to see how much utility this Bappy Boost is gonna give teams, its gonna be so fun

The flaw in that argument is that McCree dies in half a second after everybody hears “it’s high Noon”.
