mcree nerf is fine if they compensate it
i think his gun are OP with 0.42 recovery
but the overall hero itself its bad / underpowered
0.5 sec recovery actually good balance for his gun, the problem is his kit / surviveablity is really bad
he needs either one of these buff:

max HP to 250 HP, he is pretty much close/mid range hitscan basicly, with no mobility / sustain, so 250 hp kinda make sense

increase FTH damage back to 55, if he was suppose to be glass canon then let his combo Flash FTH more consistent, he should counter reaper / doom more consistent with these change

revert his stun nerf back to 0.85 sec or maybe just simply reduce its cd to 8 sec
my self i prefer the option 1, 250 hp would wonder vs a flanker which his main job is i believe according to dev

Absolutely not. If Symmetra can’t have 250, neither should McCree. That would be a massive slap in the face to Sym players.

They were actually going to change him to 250 hp with the old 140dps back in january but people threw such a fit that it didn’t make it off the PTR.
Funny, right? That 50 extra hp is starting to look a lot better.

Why? Symm has a smaller hitbox than McCree, he already has the same fat hitbox as the other 250 hp heroes

McCree is a hitscan, the best way to play him is further away from the enemy. Symmetra needs to be in close range to use her primary.
It doesn’t make sense to refuse a close range hero 250hp but give a mid range hero 250 hp is what i’m getting at.

This logic does not work in a game where tracer exists.

Your logic does not work when tracer has extremely high mobility and a self heal. Symmetra does not have that privilege.

All the characters that were nerfed in the experiment that are underperforming do need some sort of compensation buff that isn’t increasing dps or healing for sure

He is fine and doesn’t need compensation buff, he could end up even more stronger than Widow. Was busted for 1 whole year with the minigun and he is finally being tuned down.
The nerf to flashbang shouldn’t even be reverted because it’s a nerf along with global cc nerfs and it already has a generous range and AoE

honestly the mccree nerf is fine.
He just takes more skill to get more value from him and still people forget that Mccree is meant to played like a glass cannon with weak mobility and survivability but insane damage and dps - even when his recovery rate was increased and now with the nerf it’ll be harder to secure picks but the global shield nerfs means that it’s honestly okay for this revert
He’s just one of the lowest winning Heroes in the game overall, at every rank, and doesn’t even go above 50% on public stats with grand masters

Always liked the idea of Thiccree as long as his range is also reduced a tad bit, but then again he becomes a Reaper-but-better hero which isn’t good either. McCree’s falloff curve is quite bonkers already, so maybe there’s ways to go about it.
55 FTH was insane. Sustain is going now, we don’t need that absurdity back.
Buffs to CC are unlikely to happen - and frankly shouldn’t - happen regardless of balance. Could toy about with the recovery time of Flashbang, if McCree can shoot faster after tossing the bang grenade out, the effectiveness of the stun-headshot combo can be brought up without increasing CC.
Symmetra will be stronger than McCree even with him at 250HP if he gets the 0.5s recovery time. 0.5s recovery and 250HP is overall a huge nerf that has been tried on the PTR before (and made him a throw-pick). The actual result of his rate of fire nerf is going to be a huge boost to Doomfist’s pickrate.
Stop spamming about Symm in every single unrelated thread.
Give a character that’s a jack of all trades 50 more health. How about no.
or just make his hitbox smaller? (same with sym)
