Timing to recharge is absurdly long in compare to the abilites, you would assume it has something like 4 seconds roll and 8 flashbang if you first see it , but no, its 12 for FB and 8 for roll!
doesn’t make any sense tbh, for 12 seconds soldier get 120 dmg rockets.
for 8 seconds genji gets a dash that i dont need to describe what it does.
if it’s too complicated to give mccree a good kit, perhaps let him use it more often.

He should get cooldown reductions based on landing headshots. Something that rewards good play.

McCree is very similar to Mei, in that if you buff him, he will become OP very quickly. I wouldn’t mind a faster cooldown on roll (or even a different ability entirely because roll kind of sucks), but flashbang is just fine where it is. If you lower the cooldown on flashbang, he’ll become broken and oppressive.
helix is actually 8 second CD but yeah
no reason for roll to have that long of a cooldown. flashbang i can understand because it’s a pocket CC and can cancel ults, but not his piddly little roll.
i would personally love this. the only way to buff roll’s CD without promoting FtH spam imo. something like 1s reduction per crit landed.

please yes, i think roll should reset on kills kinda like genji so you can chain kills without having to reload.

It’s because his power is in his gun.
Same reason why Widow’s mine takes like 15s despite Zenyatta’s discord orb having no cooldown. Every hero is meant to be similarly overall powerful and McCree has pretty much the best gun in the game and flashbang isn’t exactly weak, so he in turn has long cooldowns and a weak ultimate.
if we are talking statistics, yes best gun in the game, talking practicality? no one hits all thier shots and no one crits all the time (unless youre like pine or something)
