McCree is insanely OP in FFA

I don’t want him to be changed or anything, I just want to open the discussion. McCree (and Hanzo, to an extent) make FFA really really unfun.

McCree is pretty much one of the fairest heroes you can play against in FFA. Just raw aim challenge and dont get too close to prevent flashbang. Thats pretty much it.

Only if McCree had a counte-

Genji.

And Widow.

And Roadhog.

And D.Va.

And Moira is decent.

And Tracer if you’re really good at her because if McCree wastes flashbang, he has a hard as hell time killing you without it.

Its all about your aim. Mc cree isnt really a good character and can be countered easy.

I thought more people complained about heros like sombra (hack, invis, and passive), Moira (almost unmatched 1v1 potential) , or Junkrat (its junkrat)?

Which is a sad thing, since McCree was originally intended to be a flanker counter.

not really. A good mccree maybe but they’re few and far between. Genji is much more annoying

Pretty much this. Same thing with Widow.

No kidding. He can’t even kill good Tracers. Soldier is a more reliable counter to both Genji AND Tracer.

McCree is a good character. Well balanced.

He beats some, and is beaten by some. Nobody should say he’s too strong – just try to kill most tanks solo as McCree. It’s quite difficult.

He’s actually my favorite DPS. I don’t really ever do FFA though unless I need arcade loot boxes, and even then I play Roadhog.

Tanks make FFA unfun. I’m fine with McCree, I win some I lose some against him. That’s balanced.

Some McCrees are good, some are bad. Any Brigitte is basically invincible in FFA for some characters.

McCree isn’t as OP as you think he is. He’s just good at dealing with long and mid range targets. But if he has to deal with a close range target he can get destroyed. Depending on what map you’re on, and who you’re fighting Winston can be better. Hell, if there is a sniper who’s doing pretty well I’ll usually switch to Winston just to hunt them. :smiley:
