On the McCree Deadlock skin it says McCree co-founded the Deadlock gang in 1976 alongside Ashe, and apparently the game takes place in the 2070’s, making McCree
over 100 years old? Yet they say he’s 37.
He is a vampire. As is Ashe, obviously.

They could just be using an old brand as their own ya know

It’s not literally 1976 that was the year the gang was founded. That’s just for flair.
This was before they converted to Metric. It screwed up a lot of unexpected and unrelated things, such as years.
They just had to shoehorn in Ashe as much as they could also indicated by iterating on her design ten billion times even though bob was perfect on basically the first go

Apparently the Deadlock Gang as a name already exists longer. McCree and Ashe just ‘re-established’ it… at least that’s what I’ve heard.
If it’s true, it’s likely a convoluted excuse for an oversight, which is quite shameful because this game barely has any lore to keep track of to begin with.

I was looking up historical info a gangs and there was a Western gang called Hole-in-the-wall gang, which kind of reminded me of the Deadlock gang. It was many separate gangs that had little to do with each other, but all operated within the same location.
It’s not too farfetched that there was other gangs that once operated within Deadlock Gorge that was simply named Deadlock before McCree and Ashe.
they have cryogenic freezing in the lore so maybe he was frozen
