Why is MMR range is -3/3. We see rolls - maybe someone classified at a certain MMR is not really at that MMR?

Why cant they expand that for even matches?

Who knows! MMR is a shadowy handicapping system that Blizzard treats as a trade secret. You are likely to get nothing but misconceptions in response to this question from players, and Blizzard refuses to discuss it.
