15$ is definitely too high for my country. It took me 2 days of working for that much money while in America and many country in Europe it takes only around 1-2 hours.
I almost never play Mercy and never pay for skin in my life. I want to give it a shot but the price make me wonder if I should do it or not.

With salaries like that how do you even have a console/pc to play the game on?
And they won’t adjust the price. The skin is a reward for donating 15€/£/$ for the cause so I highly doubt they’ll touch it.

Saving little by little depending on the price of hardware. I think it took me a year to buy & build a comp. I could have done it sooner but it went my spine surgery.
I agree Blizz will not decrease price just because we are from third-world. We are beneath them.

Yeah, good luck convincing Blizz to change this.
It baffles me how you can make a non-profit charity event, then fix the price at 15, thus locking out everyone willing to pay less or more…screw them, right? Their support is not needed. Only the one from people willing to pay exactly 15. Anything above or below is unnecessary.

Nothing is stopping you from donating directly to charity if you really wanted to give more/less, or donating multiple times in $15 increments.

Or y’know, you could just directly donate any amount yourself?

Blizzard: “This is charity”
Also Blizzard: “You must donate $15 regardless of your country. We don’t care.”

Assuming I actually care about charity. I am just in for the skin, but given how it’s way too overpriced, I am losing out. Tough luck for me. Tough luck for charity, too. Could have gotten some money from me when it otherwise would never see a single cent from me, but then Blizz decided to ask for way too much

Too bad? The skin is incentive for people to donate money to charity…

Yeah, right. I am more on the “I want to pay less” side of the deal. But, heck, if someone were to gift it to me, I wouldn’t say no. Could even pay them back the 5-7 bucks I would be willing to pay for the skin in the first place. They pay 15 for charity and get 5-7 back from me as a bonus for being a good bloke.
it’s donation to american company anyway, don’t bother

Yeah, shame the skin is not worth 15 bucks, so charity is losing out on this one.

You’re not buying the skin, you’re getting the skin as a reward for donating 15$ to charity.

I don’t care about supporting an American organization, tho. I just want the skin. So from my point of view, I am paying for the skin, which, quite frankly, is not worth 15 bucks.

Well, you’ve got the wrong mindset then, so I will reiterate what I said before.
Too bad.

Yeah, the event was about arbitrary deciding a fixed amount of currency which shall henceforth be deemed adequate as a donation. I got that just fine.
It’s so that the company doesn’t have to convert the currency later. Imagine all of the other currencies in the world that would have to be converted if they allowed something like this – when they could just offer a flat rate and pay 100% of the funds to charity.
