He is, his damage is insane and he just lives waayy to long, he plays waayy to much into the whole counter watch meta thing.
Where if you don’t go say dva or Sigma or counter Mauga (or ana) you just lose.

I don’t want 2 tanks getting dumpstered because you don’t like them. The tank roster is already limited.
I like hero counter based gameplay. It’s the reason we’re allowed to swap heroes mid game.

I think hog is worse since he’s got the hook trap combo. He deletes things faster and it feels cheap

Mauga is actually pretty strong. He was meta in OWCS. Frankly Hog, Mauga, and Orisa all need to just never be good. Those 3 ruin the tank experience.

As a tank main I would love to see hog, orisa and mauga dumpstered to the point they are unplayable.

Both are made irrelevant by having an Anna and/or a Zen. Rework sleep+nade then hard nerf the tanks that are more powerful than they should be because of having to be playable with sleep+nade.
As always, ANA IS THE PROBLEM. Until they do something about her, tanks like Hog and Mauga need to be stronger than they otherwise should, and nobody is going to join the tank role and think “oh, this sleep and nade stuff is fun, I’ll hang around and climb on tank”.
Ana is causing the tank role to bleed players. And before you say “skill issue” or “only in low ranks”, where do you think the tanks in upper ranks come from? How are you ever going to get more tanks in higher ranks if none of them hang around in low ranks long enough to climb? Eh?

Sure, that’s going to bring in so many more tank players - stronger tank busters is guaranteed to stop people leaving the tank role. Great idea!
The solution is both simple and obvious - rework Ana sleep and nade then weaken the tanks who are strong to survive with those in the game. The ones without shields or matrix or bubbles to block or cleanse nade.

they can’t go back now game is ruined with power creep and raid boss tanks, 6v6 with weaker tanks worked for years it was perfectly fine

Dva is not a counter to Mauga.
I’m just sick of having to play Ana to try to deal with them, I’d like to play more Kiriko and Illari.
These two are only really good if the supports are pumping heals into them. They are good ult batteries, if our DPS ever chose to shoot at them. DPS would rather 1v1 a health pack that is far from the map objective these days.
