I’ve been playing quick play for about 400 hours and finally decided I wanted to try competitive. Well it’s completely ruined my drive to play the game now because I’m consistently getting bad matchmaking. Everyone on my team will be in the correct and close proximity to my own rank however the opposing team always has at least one person on their team that’s platinum, diamond, or top 500. How is that fair to me? I don’t have people to que up on this game with to carry me up the ranks. I have to do it on my own and I can’t do anything because I’m constantly being matched incorrectly. If this is how things are going to be I’ll just stop playing the game all together.

I’m gold 2 and I have maches with masters, I can’t do anything.

I’m Plat and sometimes it puts me against a GM and its unwinnable. We don’t even get one on our team to make it fair. It must be nice to get to be in GM and playing against plats all day.

Are you guys looking at their profiles or just the title under their name on the leaderboard, because I feel like a lot of people just judge off the title or the picture…
Also, (and admittedly GM, if you really being them, you’ll never be able to compete against them), but if they’re only like a rank higher than you or whatever, play to diamond or diamond whatever. How do you expect to be able to rank up and compete against them later if you can’t deal with one or two of them now? Let alone 5 of them!
The title says role queue GM challenge or something like that. Then you look at their profile and sure enough its true. I thought they said they were going to do something to stop the confusion this season. But nothing changed its still actual GM’s vs. actual plats. Also you can tell by playing they are way better and not the same rank as everyone else.
