Matchmaking Issue

The Overwatch matchmaking has been so bad the past few seasons, and it has hit an all time low this season. I’ve been playing as a platinum support consistently since starting this game on my old account (started playing when Overwatch in diamond and masters rank first came out), and still got platinum on this account. However, I got placed pretty low last season/two seasons ago at around silver. I played a couple of matches and it seems like the matchmaking is unplayable. It’s always one sided matches, win or lose. I’ve had games where it was so one sided but still got uphill battle when I won, but only got a tiny bit of SR. When I lose, I lose a LOT of SR. Even when I take breaks and make sure I don’t tilt, or play with team, or hard carry, etc. It doesn’t matter. I was platinum 1 and now I’m silver 5. I know there’s a hidden MMR system, but it doesn’t feel good to be paired against high ranking people through hidden MMR when my rank is so low. And at my current rank, I play with really bad players (no offense). My performance has been pretty consistent with when I was playing in platinum and diamond rank lobbies, so I’m not sure what to do on an individual level. It’s just a really frustrating experience which has put me in a long time slump with Overwatch. I’ve also read that the overwatch matchmaking system puts you in a loser’s queue when you keep playing despite in a loss streak, but taking breaks don’t help either when I come back to the same lobbies. I’m not sure what to do. I’ve been contemplating if it’s time to end my Overwatch journey, so maybe I’ll come back when I hear better things about the matchmaking
