So why is every game of qp I play I’m with literal bots? I can’t even grind BP because of how frustrating this is. Blizzard?

I too have come across bots, not just in QP but also in the practice mode, they’re most definately there. Will Blizz do anything? Yeah right, there’ll be the heat death of the universe before that happens. It’s been reported here, and across quite a few threads now on Reddit the past month or so, with video evidence.
So before calling others idiots-research first before opening your mouth.

Does anyone have any actual evidence of this though? People have claimed the matchmaker is screwing them since OW1 came out. Its the whole “I’d be GM if my teammates weren’t holding me back” argument but vaguely blaming the matchmaker instead
There’s a difference between blaming the matchmaker for holding you back and acknowledging when the people in your lobby do not play, think or have the same level of awareness or mechanical skill as you.
Comp’s a joke. QP took an already loose set of variables for matchmaking and seems to have even thrown those out the window and just ships what it can.

I’ve been gm every season past season 2 of OW1. You’re not listening to what I’m saying guy. Matchmaking doesnt hold you back if you play significantly above the overall skill level of that lobby. Always been that way.
That being said, matchmaking in OW2 is also trash. They’re not the same issue.

Well there’s your problem. You’re in the top 2% of players but queueing for QP where almost everyone is going to be worse than you, but still expecting the matches to be balanced
I think you’d be surprised how many gm players have bailed on comp and are playing in qp. But I dont expect balanced matches. I expect halfway functioning human players. That’s it, bare minimum.
You keep assuming a lot and it’s not helping you here.

There were actual Torb bots in FFA deathmatch at one point. They would drop a turret and walk into walls to avoid getting idle kicked.

How would a change to the matchmaker make people not be idiots? A matchmaker designed by god himself wouldn’t be able to stop people from throwing games when they feel like it
If you’re frustrated by lopsided QP matches, play comp? Especially as a GM player, you can’t go into QP expecting reliable teammates who are anywhere close to your level

Probably because “the matchmaker” is a convenient excuse players can always blame for their losses and no change Blizzard could possibly make to the matchmaker would stop people from being idiots sometimes. Correct me if I’m wrong though!
When did I refuse? You kept making assumptions and then I had to sidetrack to try to explain where you’re confused. You had this one bit here

As for how to change the matchmaker, I’d have to know more of what the hell it’s actually doing, but blizzard won’t tell us that. All I can tell you is that it worked better in OW1 with fewer players (supposedly). What I can tell you, is the the disparity in skill levels whether its in comp or qp is far greater than it was in OW1.
It is not a “convenient excuse” and this is just another sad misdirect.

Same thing with low rank competitive today. I’ve been in 3 games in a row where 4 out of 5 players on the other team are literal bots just walking around.
