12 games tonight. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. A stomp. 10 stomps against the my team, 2 where our team stomped theirs. In one game, my team had 3 total kills. That the whole GD team had three kills combined! The enemy team? The lowest scoring person had 15! How is this even remotely okay? I get it that the game is trying to push me down and “put me where I belong” in the MMR, but Im a freaking Silver player! Why am I going against golds, platinums, and in one case someone whose title said, Master Challenger?!?! This is utter horses*** at its finest

the match making is horrible you can get one or 2 games if your lucky then get a team that isnt doing well…these algorithms are broken as heck

I just dont understand how people can sit there with a straight face and say that stomps like this are a fault of the players and not the matchmaker

Playing more, then you might have 50% of stomp and 50% of being stomped

I have been having a lot of trouble with the matchmaker as well. I’ve only won 12 of my last 50 games, and I know the last few games that were pushed off my replays were losses as well. A lot of the matches have been 1 sided stomps with my team getting down camped in a fair number of them.
If I suddenly just stuck at the game I feel like my MMR should have significantly dropped by now to the point where I would get even matches again. That plus the loss streak prevention should have stopped such a long negative streak from happening.
not complain too hard. Blind people here will ask you to “improve your skills”. They have zero talents for patten recognition.
I agree with you. I have been on a losing streak and went from S3 to B4 in less than a week. Still losing.
I played 8 games tonight, five were stomps against my team and 2 were stomps made BY my team. One was an actual, honest-to-god, decent game!! At the end of every single match, I typed into chat “Stomp or be Stomped, the new OW way”. Not one, NOT ONE, person argued against what I said! In fact, in several matches, I got apologies or “IKR?!” from the opposing team! This is horses***. Absolute horses***

Lately I’ve been just getting trashed by teams that are far more coordinated than my own.
The one game that I did win, was a stomp against a team that had a T500 player icon, which I rolled my eyes at immediately, but it turns out they were trash so we rolled them.
Next games, I’m back getting flattened again.
I don’t understand how this is sustainable in terms of player numbers.
The matchmaking is terrible and the Blizzard executives don’t care. They are all still getting paid 6+ figures a year, so they don’t see an issue. The matchmaking is utterly atrocious. It is almost always, like 8 out of 10 games, a stomp. In your favor not or not, it has gotten beyond the point of being old.
All of us solo players should just quit because Blizzard doesn’t care about us. Let the stacks and whales keep the game on life support. OW2 is a failed competitive cash grab created with only greed in mind. They had to kill OW1 so they could milk everyone with skins that they didn’t want you to be able to earn for free anymore.
This season’s games are bad and I assume it feels worse because they gigabuffed tanks… now the tank diff is so overwhelming that the entire team gets stomped. Matchmaker is bad… people in ranks that they should be in (boosted or smurfs)… more cheaters even in the lower ranks…it goes on and on lol. Maybe 6v6 is a real possibility, it wont solve all the issues but maybe it can be a stopgap to meaningful changes to OW.
