I swear to god it does. As time goes on, stomps seem to get more frequent, teammates put on my team worse, enemies put on the enemy team better, losses more frequent…
I never leave games anymore because it doesn’t matter. I could leave 100 and they’d all still just as garbage as the first match I quit.
It’s getting tiresome, and they refuse to do anything about it and continue to gaslight us into thinking it’s working perfectly with no faults at all.
Blizzard is more interesting in keeping queue times down than they are for match quality.
I would literally rather wait 5 minutes before every match than… this. Hell I’d wait TEN.
This isn’t fun. It’s an abomination.

I don’t think that’s ever happened to me before. Completely absurd. They were all stomps too. My entire team playing like they’ve never touched a video game in their life, and the enemy team playing like they’re ex OWL.
In ow1 we hit 20+.

Bottom line is, not many people are ok with long queue times, and blizzard as a company needs to keep player numbers high!
13 losses in a row now. All stomps, all with players on my team that are literally brand new or play like they have never touched a computer.
In one match I had a Mercy on my team do a total of 300 healing the entire match and on multiple occasions would run up and melee the enemy. Only rez’d one time. Actual new player.
Enemy team had a gold gun Widow who went 20-0.
Update: 15. I give up, not playing anymore today.
My queue times now between low plat to low diamond for DPS/support reach 10-20mins for comp and about 5mins for QP. I honestly think the reason matchmaker is worse now is that there are not enough tank players who are playing the game.
I swap between Role Queue and Open Queue (in QP) and the experience has been the same in both.
Vastly different teams in terms of skill, like night and day.
It’s not a problem with there not being enough tank players, it’s that they have the matchmaker so incredibly loose. I should not be vs’ing two Masters (skill) DPS on the enemy team even in QP when me and the other DPS on my team are not even over Gold.
This should literally never happen. Period.
If the matchmaker can only find a match where it will end up like this, it should SPREAD THEM OUT between both teams instead of lumping both high mmr players on ONE team.
I don’t understand why it won’t spread them out, it seems like something they could definitely program into the game so I don’t understand why they don’t just do it.
Yeah thats probably true also. After the rank reset they pushed a lot of ranks towards gold but keep the wide rank gap for comp makes for really uneven games too I guess.
After I quit yesterday, first match today the entire enemy team in the QP game was alt accounts of high mmr players. Utterly destroyed us so hard we literally couldn’t get 10 feet from spawn the entire game.
Entire enemy team was default pfp, endorsement level 1, default skins, locked accounts, all playing with the skill I see when I occasionally watch very high rank streamers.
Absurd. Why use an alt account for easy wins in QUICKPLAY??
