For the first time ever I’ve actually had a match cancel due to a cheater. I’m guessing it was their tank because they went to lvl 0 endorsement. Cheating doom player

wow anti cheat is active?
i have not seen a match cancelled by the system in ages. and when i mean ages i meant back when ow2 just came out

Always has been. It’s just never been as aggressive and trigger happy as some out there.
Probably should tell you that there aren’t people cheating in your games.
Or if anyone is, they need a refund. If your cheat only means you blend in at the right rank, what’s the point.

That is literally the point. To blend in. And not stick out like a sore thumb, getting reported every game and eventually banned.

Problem is, you can’t cheat positioning.
If you’re gold, and use cheats, once you climb a couple of ranks it because VERY obvious. Even if the cheat part is subtle.
The only cheaters going undetected are the ones who either learn how to play and position better (at which point they’d of climbed without cheating too) or are just cheating and sustaining their rank.
Both cases… Ask for a refund, you’re wasting time.
Cheating on doom is mostly pointless, i have to have multiple accounts just because people report just for playing doom, when i get a warning message i just switch accounts and i do it every 2 weeks to a month.

They were really bad I was wondering how their punches were always missing then I realized cheat couldn’t deal with a/d strafing. Like actual gold player gameplay then he went roadhog when we were about to win before ban.
My favourite cheater I’ve ever seen was a few years back, going against an aim botting rein
I’ve never laughed so much playing this game.
Yeah , you can’t aim punch after the animation has started so it misses on aimbot, the most pointless hero to have cheats on.
cheating is cheating. If you cheat you should get banned even if your are in bronze 5 and that’s your true rank. That is completely irrelevant.

The game should also name and shame repeat offenders.
But they are doing one thing to combat cheating on console. They are going after the makers of Cronus Zen directly.
Happend to one of my Stadium game last week. The enemy soldier got slept by my Ana and died, so he decide to rage cheats with his aimbot and wallhack on me the enire game and tbag me after killing me, he still has the most death in his team because I sleept him a few more times😂. The next game he was on the other team again, and the match got cancelled and he is banned lol. Never thought that the first mid game ban I encounterd was in Stadium, and I also played against way more cheaters in Stadium than norm comp games, probably because you barely has chance to watch kill cams in Stadium, so cheaters thought it will be safer in this mode.

If you get nuked by a soldier on stadium you’re gonna think “this guy’s build is broken” more than they’re a cheater
This isnt actually true. There are plenty of cheaters that have positioning and game sense. And are just cheating because they cant aim, or because they dont have the actual skill to go with that game sense. If you have high game sense, and no skill in what you are playing, you’re also silver/gold. It goes both ways, why do people think every cheater doesn’t have game sense? That’s ridiculous, and illogical. There is a good chance that a lot of OW cheaters have been playing OW since its inception.
And if you have aimbot like skill, the positioning part of this game doesnt matter quite as much and isnt some 200iq feat, just know where they are going to be and take aim with certain characters.

Yeah, that usually is the case, but during that game, I was a bit sus with his constant pre firing behind walls. So I decide to hide away from the point, in a hard to find position when no one on the enemy team can see me. About 10secs later I heard that soldier’s footstep, he just running straight to the tiny room I was hiding, and prefired his rocket to my face the moment he entered the room. I clicked report button right after this happen lol.
