Why would I have to prove myself 2000 Sr below my rank? High diamond atleast? But you know I win gm games and it puts me in plat games on open queue. The game is broken rn and seriously needs an overhaul when the second one comes out.

If queues are too high and the matches have large SR gaps, then the ladder needs a reset. A reset consolidates everything back towards the middle and remixes the population. It’s a small price to pay for everyone getting faster queues and more relevant matches that are renormalized for active population in 2021 and it’s metas/gameplay.
